Media Studies

The media is a powerful force in all of our lives.

Media Studies offers students the chance to analyse and interpret media through an exciting range of practical tasks.

Students learn that media messages are a construction of reality and not reality itself.  They use media languages to analyse how media products are constructed and that the media is enjoyable, entertaining, persuasive and powerful.

Our course focuses on print media and film.
