Accounting

Accounting is the language of business and the most useful tool anyone can have who enters the business world.

It is the art and science of measuring, interpreting and communicating financial information.

In Year 12 the students learn business terms, prepare and analyse cash flow statements, income statements and balance sheets.   The MYOB computer package is taught.

Financial statement preparation is part of the Year 13 course, along with analysis of a New Zealand public company.
