Introduction
In New Zealand, Government Schools are known as State Schools and Private Schools are known as Independent Schools. Marsden School is an Independent School.
International students are required to pay for their education in both State and Independent Schols. The New Zealand Government does not subsidise the education of overseas students.
International students are students who have a student visa, are not New Zealand citizens, and do not have residency or diplomatic status in New Zealand.
