Fran Hesp Coxswain Trophy: Alexandra Stevenson (Y11)

The Fran Hesp Coxswain trophy is awarded to the coxswain who demonstrates a high level of commitment to the sport, participating in more than one competitive season, in addition to displaying strong leadership and organisational skills and an inspiring passion for their role and responsibilities.

Carr Smith Cup for Senior Rowing: Petra Feickert (Y13)

The Carr Smith Rowing Cup is awarded to the best all round squad member. Someone who puts in that little bit extra. Someone who is willing to assist with coaching of junior and novice rowers, whose attendance and assistance at trainings, before and after regattas with the boats and someone that has helped further the sport of rowing at Marsden.

Netball Club Cup: Kimberley Wake and Gemma Aspell (Y13)

This cup is awarded to the student or students who’ve made an outstanding contribution to Netball at Marsden. Someone who coaches, umpires, assists with fixtures and someone happy to help out whenever.

Jackson Cup for contribution to Marsden Hockey: Grace Wellington (Y13)

This cup is awarded to the student or students who’ve made an outstanding contribution to Hockey at Marsden. Someone who coaches, umpires, assists with fixtures and someone happy to help out whenever.

Most Valuable player in the 1st XI hockey team: Jessica McFadyen (Y13)

For the MVP in the 1st XI Hockey team. This cup is presented to a highly skilled player who contributes outstandingly on the field of play. Jessica represented Wellington in the Wellington Women's A team, the U21 and U18A teams. 

Emma Humphries Cup: Suzie McDonald (Y12)

For the MVP in the 1st XI Soccer team. This cup is presented to a skilled player, who is well respected by the team and who makes a positive contribution to the team. This cup is chosen by the players, coach and Manager.

Parents Association Cup: Shannen Josling and Michelle Ashley (Y13)

For contribution to junior sport by a senior student.
The recipient’s this year were involved in a number of sports, and still found time to coach junior sports teams. They were always available to help where required often asking rather than waiting to be asked and spent many hours during the weekends coaching.

Russell Simmonds Cup for Marsden's best skier at the NISS Skiing Championships: Taylor Smith (Y12)

The recipient this year won the Senior girls Trophy in the slalom event and was presented with the Taylor Memorial Trophy. She also represented NZ at the Hotham Cup winning the Giant slalom. She is also the U19 National Woman’s champion in the Giant parallel Slalom.

Honours Bars

These are awarded to sportswomen who have represented New Zealand in competition this year.

Colours Awards

These awards are made to students who were outstanding sportswomen in their sport when representing Marsden and in many cases other provincial or national teams.

High achievement Awards

These awards are made to students who displayed a high level of skill at their chosen sport when representing Marsden.

Junior Colours Awards

These new awards are made to students who were outstanding sportswomen in their sport when representing Marsden and in many cases other provincial or national teams in years 7 - 10.

Service Awards

These awards are made to students who made a significant contribution to sport at Marsden. Without their input and in many cases long hours of personal time the delivery and value of our sports programme would have been adversely affected.
