Sport at Marsden Whitby is improving every year as the roll grows.  Students enjoy impromptu games of cricket in our wonderful rural setting at lunchtime (pictured) and form teams to play in local competitions.

By playing sport at Marsden, we want students to learn about sportsmanship, teamwork and courage.  We want them to be gracious winners and good losers.

Marsden Whitby now has three netball teams and one hockey team of our own and cricket is developing.

More sports teams will be added as the school roll rises further.

Boys may apply through the Director to play for another school in a code that is not currently offered by Marsden Whitby, in line with College Sport Wellington guidelines.

Girls who wish to play a sporting code not offered at Marsden Whitby may join a Marsden Karori team.
