School Development

Marsden Whitby continues to expand its facilities and its opportunities for students as the roll continues to grow.

The school has grown from 24 pupils four years ago when Marsden took over, to a roll of over 150 this year. The steady roll growth has secured the school’s future as a full Year 7 – 13 secondary college.

New classrooms were built in 2007 and our new gymnasium was officially opened in 2010. The next stage of development completed early in 2011 was the senior science lab, new classroom spaces and a school library.
