The COVID-19 Protection Framework ended at 11:59pm Monday 12 September 2022. This means that we will not be requiring the wearing of masks at school and on school transport, effective immediately.
Household contacts of COVID-19 cases will no longer need to isolate, but instead should undertake a RAT test every day for five days. Positive cases remain legally required to isolate for seven days. Anyone who is symptomatic, including household contacts, should stay at home and get tested for COVID-19.
While COVID-19 still remains active in the community, we have contingency plans to ensure students are able to learn, whether at home or school and whether school is open, partially open or closed.
Thank you for the continued understanding of the COVID-19 mandates and protocols, as they have applied to our school, throughout. The support and encouragement from our Marsden community has been deeply appreciated.
We were so impressed with how quickly Marsden responded and how seamlessly schooling transitioned to online learning. It was easy to see that Marsden had planned well for such a situation.
