Students help Wellington City Mission
The annual charity initiative “Pack the Bus", run by The Breeze Wellington for the Wellington City Mission Christmas Appeal, pulled into Marsden's Karori campus on 30 November. The bus has been visiting supermarkets and schools, gathering food and new toys for families who are most in need this year.
Marsden students lined up with their donations to pack the bus, accompanied by live music and encouragement from the jolly old fellow himself, Santa! The support of generous Wellingtonians helps to fill The Mission’s Foodbank and provide hundreds of struggling parents the opportunity to give gifts to their children on Christmas Day.
