Imagination sparks at Year 10 Imaginarium Challenge

Imagination sparks at Year 10 Imaginarium Challenge

Year 10 students from Karori and Whitby had an amazing time at the two-day ‘Imaginarium Challenge’ this week.

First in New Zealand

We are really excited to be the first school in NZ to run this Challenge, instigated by Google expert Josh Bailey and run by composers, programmers and installation artists from Victoria University, the NZ School of Music and Massey University.

They lit the fire and our students let their imaginations run riot, using science, technology, music and art to create some amazing musical contraptions. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, Annabelle Jessop said

"Because we had the tools and people who helped us, everything that we imagined, we could really do - which was really cool!"
