Post University the best match for Madison

Old Girl Madison Young, who left Marsden at the end of 2014, is playing tennis for Post University in Kentucky. She is part of the Eagles Women's tennis team under coach Rob Howard, who has been involved with tennis greats like Andre Agassi, Jim Courier and Monica Seles.

Madison, who is studying for a marketing major, looked at a number of American Colleges before choosing Post, and says of her coach "I'm a very family-oriented person, and when I came over here he said he would treat me like one of his own. Coach was a big reason I chose Post".

This season the Eagles have had 9 wins to 3 losses a monumental swing from last year when they only won one and lost 11.

From his perspective Rob Howard attributes much of the Eagle's success this year to Madison's presence on the team. "Madison is a great tennis player and a great kid. She can't be more bubbly and exciting and happy to be on a tennis court. She's also been a great success because everyone wants to play with her. She brings out the best in everyone." He believes that with successes like Madison it will become increasingly easy to convince recruits to attend Post.

We are delighted to hear her freshman year is going so well and it’s obvious Madison has a bright future ahead of her.
