Celeste wins Cambridge University Trinity Hall Essay Prize in Modern Languages.

Imagine writing an award winning English essay when English isn't your first language.

That is exactly what Year 13 student Celeste Pan has done! She has won the Cambridge University Trinity Hall Essay Prize in Modern Languages for her probing investigation of W G Sebald's grappling with his country's past in Die Ringe des Saturn

The UK based essay competition is an opportunity for students to write about literary or cinematic works in a modern foreign language. It also helps with independent study skills while giving students a taste of what studying at Trinity Hall Cambridge would be like.

We are absolutely delighted for Celeste who wins £200.
