Rebecca Holden inspires Grimm art
Rebecca Holden, our Artist in Residence, held a fabulous workshop on visual storytelling with Marsden students and visiting Year 6 students from local schools. She told them the rather dark Grimm's fairytale of "The Wolf and the Seven Little Kids". Then in groups of three they set about creating a section of the story using oil pastels, charcoal and chalk pastel on a painted sheet of brown paper.

Rebecca will be exhibiting work she has created during her residency at the NZ Portrait Gallery, Shed 11, Customhouse Quay between 23 June and 1 July and we invite you to view it.
