A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher of English (Years 8–13). An ability to
contribute to pastoral care would be advantageous.

After School Care Programme Lead

Part-time, Term Time Only

 

We are excited to be seeking applications for a newly created After School Care Programme Lead to oversee the launch and daily running of our new onsite after school care service, beginning in Term 1, 2026.

 

This is a part-time, term time only position from 3.00pm–6.00pm Monday to Friday based at Samuel Marsden Collegiate School, Karori.

 

We are looking for someone who:

 

  • enjoys working with children and creating a fun, safe, and caring environment
  • can plan engaging, age-appropriate activities for students in Years 1–8
  • has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • is confident managing groups of children and maintaining a calm, positive atmosphere
  • can work collaboratively with school staff and student volunteers
  • holds, or is willing to obtain, a current First Aid Certificate
  • is reliable, responsible, and aligned with Marsden’s core values.

School Bus Driver(s)

Part-time, Term Time Only, Standard Class 1 Car Licence  

 

We are seeking a reliable and friendly driver to join our Marsden transport team from Term 1, 2026. This is a part-time, term time only position involving one morning route and one afternoon route. A job share is an option, with one driver able to take the morning run and another the afternoon run, with only a standard Class 1 car licence required.

 

We are seeking someone who:

 

  • enjoys working with young people and creates a calm, welcoming environment
  • is safety-focused and confident driving a small school bus
  • can build positive relationships with students and families
  • has excellent communication and time management skills
  • is dependable and takes pride in providing a consistent, professional service
  • holds a current full NZ driver licence and either already has, or is willing to obtain, a P endorsement
  • aligns with Marsden’s values and is committed to student wellbeing.
