English Teacher
Claire Potter is an English teacher who also occasionally teaches junior Art. She has experience across the Upper School but currently mainly teaches Middle School students. Claire is also the Student Teacher Coordinator, matching student teachers with staff mentors for each placement and coordinating observation logistics. She has been part of the Marsden community for five years and enjoys further contributing to school life in supportive roles at events and activities.
Background
Claire holds a BA (Hons) in English and Art & Design and a PGCE, qualifying her as a Secondary teacher. She has extensive teaching experience, including four years in London, 8.5 years in international schools in Singapore, and additional years teaching in Wellington schools. She has also taken time for maternity leave to raise her two daughters, now aged 15 and 20.
