Personal Insights
The Marsden value that resonates most strongly with Emily is Manahau | Resilience.
“Sport is a fantastic way to develop resilience, whether it is dealing with a loss, missing out on team selection, making a mistake or not scoring that goal. These challenges often teach students far more than they realise in the moment, helping them learn to persevere, reflect, support others and bounce back. I believe these lessons extend well beyond sport and help equip students with the confidence and resilience to navigate challenges in all areas of their lives."
Outside of Marsden
When she isn't supporting Marsden teams, Emily stays active on the tennis court and loves spending quality time with family and friends.
