Operations & Logistics Manager

Warren Bland serves as Marsden’s Operations and Logistics Manager, with extensive experience in the financial services sector. He has led teams across compliance, customer service and operations, and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Finance) from Massey University.

Earlier in his career, Warren spent time at Waikato Teachers’ College, sparking a lasting interest in the education sector. He is proud to be part of the Marsden community and to contribute to a school with such a strong reputation.

Warren has a strong sporting background, having competed at a high level in cricket, football and rugby, representing regional teams. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, exploring different cultures, and spending time outdoors. Many weekends are spent walking or tramping—often along the Mount Kaukau ridgeline—or discovering more of Wellington with his wife.

Warren is particularly drawn to the Marsden value of Auahatanga (Creativity), which underpins his approach to leadership and problem-solving. He values creative and innovative thinking as essential in navigating an increasingly complex and fast-changing world.

In his role, Warren provides oversight of the school’s day-to-day operations, ensuring systems, processes and environments run smoothly and effectively. He works closely with facilities and operational teams, strengthens workflows across administration, and contributes to long-term planning, including property development and system improvements. His work plays an important part in ensuring Marsden remains a safe, well-run and supportive environment for staff, students and whānau.
