Our Middle School Prize Giving for Years 7 to 10 was held last Thursday, filling the Auditorium with proud whānau and a wonderful sense of celebration.
As another rewarding year draws to a close, we are proud to acknowledge the commitment, growth, and success demonstrated by our Middle School students throughout 2025. We extend our congratulations to all award recipients on their well-earned achievements.
Reflecting on the qualities that define Marsden students, Principal Paula Wells shared: "We demonstrate grit when things get tough… moments when we need to dig deep and courageously take on challenges that might feel hard. For some, this might have been navigating the first days at a new school or taking a risk in class by volunteering an answer when no-one else is brave enough. These are the moments that build resilience — skills that will stay with you for life."
Mrs Wells also emphasised grace, highlighting how students show kindness, celebrate each other’s successes, and live out the school’s values every day. She noted that this combination of grit and grace is central to Marsden’s identity and the character development of its students.
We wish our students and families a refreshing summer break and look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting year ahead.
