We are delighted to share our outstanding NCEA co-requisite assessment results for 2025.
To be awarded any level of NCEA, students must achieve a 20-credit co-requisite in literacy and numeracy skills. At Marsden, students are given the opportunity to complete these assessments in Year 10. This early approach allows them to gain experience with formal external assessment, secure the required literacy and numeracy credits ahead of NCEA Level 1, and build a strong foundation for future success.
The 2025 results are in, and they are exceptional.
- 100% of domestic students achieved the Literacy co-requisite.
- 98.4% of students achieved the Numeracy co-requisite.
These results reflect our students’ diligence, the expertise of our teachers, and the strength of Marsden’s robust academic foundation. To see our students mastering these essential skills at such a high level, and so early in their NCEA journey, is an outstanding achievement and one that positions them confidently for continued success in Years 11–13 and beyond.
