Fiji Service Trip
Marsden senior students have the opportunity to fundraise and travel to Fiji to support St James Primary School in Levuka.
The 8–10 day Fiji Service Trip typically takes place during the Term 2 holidays. While in Fiji, students work alongside the teachers at St James, supporting learning in the classroom, leading lessons, and running physical education activities. Leading up to the trip, students fundraise to purchase educational resources, then plan and develop lessons, which they trial with Marsden Primary students before departing.
This trip offers students a meaningful opportunity to contribute in a hands-on way and helps strengthen the warm connection between St James and Marsden schools. Students who have taken part often describe it as a "life-changing experience."
