Te Kākano – Year 10

Students will consider what they have to offer the world and their future within it. This will be achieved through:

  • So They Can fundraiser for collective service
  • Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award
  • Camp at the Hillary Outdoors Centre in Tongariro National Park
  • Poroāki dinner
  • Form monitors for Y7 and Y8 classes
  • Sports committee lunch activities
  • Cultural committee Junior House Drama organisation
  • Wellbeing activities within form and subject classes

Transition activity/Poroaki dinner

All whānau will be invited to an end of year dinner which will include some elements of poroaki. Each student will receive a kete which includes a Te Kākano badge/ribbon and a graduation certificate acknowledging their strengths and achievements.
