Our Manaaki at Marsden programmes provide wraparound care for students in Years 1-8 during term time and the December school holidays.

This December, our Holiday Programme kicks off with themed days, creative activities, and plenty of fun. And launching in 2026, families can also enjoy the convenience of After School Care during term time – both providing a safe, friendly, and relaxed environment where Marsden students can play, connect, and unwind.

Together, these programmes provide flexible options for busy families and ensure Marsden students are happy, safe, and engaged beyond the school day.

After School Care

Launching in Term 1 2026, our After School Care programme provides a safe, relaxed, and familiar space for Marsden students in Years 1–8 to unwind and play after the school day finishes.

Running daily from 3.15pm to 5.30pm, the programme offers families the flexibility and reassurance of on-site care, with students supervised by caring staff and supported by senior student volunteers. Children can enjoy afternoon tea, outdoor play, homework support, quiet reading, crafts, games or simply time with friends.

Bookings are flexible and casual attendance is welcome. Parents/caregivers can notify the school on the day if their child is staying for care, with school accounts charged at the end of each term.

December Holiday Programme

Manaaki at Marsden is our fun and flexible school holiday programme, designed for students in Years 1–8 and their siblings.

Running 8–19 December 2025, the programme offers themed days full of hands-on activities, time to relax, and plenty of holiday fun. From water play and sports to crafts, cooking, and Christmas creativity, there’s something for everyone. Bookings are essential as places are limited.

Programme details:

• Monday 8 December to Friday 19 December
• 8.30am to 5.30pm daily
• $70 per child per day (15% off for full week bookings or when siblings attend on the same day. School accounts will be charged near the end of December so no upfront payment is required)
