Our Manaaki at Marsden programmes provide wraparound care for students in Years 1-8. Together, these programmes provide flexible options for busy families and ensure Marsden students are happy, safe, and engaged beyond the school day.

Before and After School Care

Manaaki at Marsden operates from the Manaaki Room with easy access to surrounding outdoor spaces, providing care both before and after the school day.

 

Before School Care runs daily for students who need to arrive before 8.15am. Children enjoy a calm, supported start to the morning and are safely escorted to their classrooms at 8.30am, ready for the day ahead.

 

After School Care runs from 3.15pm to 5.30pm with children enjoy afternoon tea, time to play and unwind, engaging activities, and the opportunity to complete homework in a supportive and familiar setting.

 

Manaaki is led by our Programme Lead, Beth McDonald, who brings strong experience and is known for her warm, organised and creative approach. Beth enjoys getting to know each child and brings plenty of energy and fresh ideas to each session.

Manaaki Before and After School Care Booking

School Holiday Programme

We were delighted with the strong interest in our December Holiday Programme 2025 and the positive feedback received from our school community.

 

We’re planning to run the programme again this December, with a similar format and focus on high-quality care and engaging activities. We’re also exploring the option of offering a Marsden Holiday Programme for a portion of the July school holidays. Plans are underway, and details will be confirmed in due course.
