Marsden Students equal to the NCEA challenge

The results are in for NCEA 2015 and we are thrilled with the performance of our Marsden students. As always they have set the bar high for themselves and met the challenge.

Marsden Karori

With 100% pass rate and 72% of results endorsed with excellence, the Year 11 (Level 1 students) performed brilliantly in their first year of NCEA. Both Year 12 (Level 2) and Year 13 (Level 3) students had an almost 100% pass rate, with each year group gaining 42% excellence endorsements.

Marsden Whitby

Year 11 students performed exceptionally well in their first year of NCEA with a 100% pass rate and 88% of results endorsed with Merit or Excellence. It was the same overall result for Level 2 (Year 12) students with yet again a 100% pass rate and 47% endorsed with Merit or Excellence. Level 3 was a 92% pass rate and 48% endorsed with Merit or Excellence.

We are equally proud of those for whom learning is a challenge and who achieved their goals. Success is different to each individual and it is the 'can do 'attitude and tenacity of our students plus the fantastic support given by their teachers that helps Marsden students perform so well. We are very fortunate to have such outstanding staff who put in wonderful work throughout 2015.

Congratulations and Ad summa!
