Student Council raise funds for Bellyful, Karori

The Primary Student Council are thrilled with the amount they raised for a local charity, Bellyful, through a mufti day and sausage sizzle. Students from Primary and Preschool paid a gold coin donation to come to school dressed as their favourite story book character. They also supported the cause by buying a sausage at lunchtime.

Bellyful Karori deliver meals to families in the neighbourhood with newborn babies and families with young children who are struggling with illness, as well as those lacking a good support network.

Manager of Bellyful Karori, Jacqui Jago, was delighted to receive a cheque from the Student Council for $688.50, she said it will go a long way to help families in our community.
