Last day for seniors

When our seniors go on study leave at the end of the year, we know it is the last time the Year 13s will be coming to school in the normal way. It is always with mixed emotions that we celebrate Leavers' communion, breakfast and a scrumptious morning tea of strawberries and cream, provided by our Marsden Old Girls Association.

This morning Eleanor Schwer's mother, Caroline told our leavers to "Make the most of all the opportunities that come your way. Be involved in your place of learning, your workplace, community and your family". Caroline is a Marsden Old Girl starting when she was just 8 years old and her daughter Eleanor, who is leaving this year, has been with us since Year 2.

We urge students to use this study time well and remember the wise advice from Dr Seuss "You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose." Looking forward to seeing what directions these fabulous young women take.
