Katie's story wins short story prize

Superb news for Katie Reed Y12 who has won the Katherine Mansfield Short Story Competition for 2016, receiving fame and a small fortune ($500) in recognition of her wonderful achievement. This prestigious competition was open to all Y12 and Y13 students from Wellington.

Katie's story 'Imperfection' is a creative story about waking up the "morning after" and worrying about what you've eaten the "night before".

Congratulations also to our other girls who had stories shortlisted: Isabella Chaytor-Waddy, Maya Duckworth, Sarah May and Summer O'Dwyer. You can read their stories here.
