Olympic Weightlifting Championships
We're in awe of the grit shown by young old girl, Ruby Straugheir (Year 13, 2016), who has just won gold in the junior and bronze in the senior Auckland Olympic Weightlifting Championships, lifting 63kg in the Snatch and 80 kg in the Clean and Jerk.
Ruby is now off to the Oceania competitions.
A great 'next step' for a focused and committed athlete.
