Special Day for Primary and Preschool Students
A number of important events happened in the last week of term 3! For our Primary and Preschool Students it was Grandparents' Day and the Baptism Service.
Over the last few weeks Year 5 and 6 students have been learning about Baptism and on Thursday 27 September six of them were baptised by Archdeacon Stephen King at St Mary's Anglican Church in a special Grandparents' Day service. In front of family and friends, each girl told the congregation about why she wanted to be baptised.
Blessings to Zoe Cunningham Y6, Sophie Harsant Anderson Y6, Hazel Hewlett Y5, Summer Stokes Y6, Hine Tapuke Y6, Trinity Ubiaga Y6 and to Piper Taylor Y5 who reaffirmed her baptismal vows.
Following the service our visiting grandparents and friends were treated to morning tea and a concert in the auditorium.
